We are pleased to announce our newest member: Brattleboro Food Coop. The Coop worked hard to become a Vermont Green Business this year, by making changes such as installing low-flow spray valves in utility sinks, and purchasing green cleaning products. The Coop also increased their landfill diversion rate from about 60% to over 70% in one year. They achieved this by implementing changes such as composting the paper towels used in the staff bathrooms, and recycling pallet wrap. In addition to all these great advancements, the Brattleboro Food Coop is a community hub for local and sustainably grown food.
